It's hard to predict spring weather patterns each year. Our timed, slow release fertiliser provides the right balance of nutrients in just the right quantity, ready for when the ground warms up, getting your lawn established early for the perfect colour, thickness and appearance. The advanced fertiliser formulation avoids excessive growth but ensures the lawn thickens up quickly after the stresses of winter.
Our late spring early summer feed contains organic bio-stimulants and soil conditioning properties to encourage increased healthy microbial activity in the rootzone. This improves the lawns access and uptake of the nutrients it needs during a period of active growth. Weeds have started growing actively now so we conduct our first weed control of the season.
An important treatment period often neglected in UK lawns. The growth rate in lawns slows down a bit but summer months are stressful for lawns with high temperatures and lower rainfall. Our Summer fertiliser provides exactly the right nutrients to help your lawn withstand typical British summers. Essential resilience when the lawn is often expected to look its best and is getting the most use.
As temperatures begin to cool down in the autumn our feed treatment applies just the right nutrients to strengthen the lawns root system in preparation for the colder months. The treatment continues to provide the deep colour and strength of the grass which extends your season on the lawn as long as possible. In the autumn we also start to treat moss again before it starts to really take over again.
A hugely important treatment period in our calendar. Unfortunately the climate in the Westcountry is ideally suited to moss growth in lawns and it can easily take over in a few short winter months. Our annual winter treatment hardens up the grass, increases resistance to disease and stops moss from thriving. This gives the grass more of the available space, oxygen and nutrients to come through the winter in good health.
