WaterSave Treatment

Adequate water in the soil is vital for a healthy lawn in the growing season.  Without adequate water the grass starts to become stressed and turn brown.  This is a process of survival as rthe plants puts its energy into its root system.  Whislt it will revover it is not the beautiful lawn people want at key time of the year.

Keeping lawns looking great can get difficult in dry periods during the summer.  Constant watering in sufficient quantities can be quite a challenge and expensive.

GreenHeart offer two treatments that are effective at this time.  Spiking and the application of our specialist WaterSave treatment.  WaterSave is a wetting agent which improves water retention in the soil profile and root zone of the lawn as well as the plants utilisation of the available water.

The benefits of WaterSave are:

• reduced surface tension in the soil.  This means that rain and piped water can penetrate the soil and spread better thus improving water availability to the lawns roots.  This reduces the total water useage.
