Our early summer visit involves at least two treatments - fertiliser maintaing the verdant green colour and thickness of the lawn and growth and a herbicide application to control the weeds to get that healthy beautiful looking lawn most people are after. Our summer feed has been carefully designed to provide the right nutrient balance at this time of year.
We want to encourage just the right amount of growth to give you the look you want without excessive mowing. Many garden centre lawn fertilisers do just the opposite giving you too much growth. If this is not mowed regularly enough it becomes leggy and looks unkempt.
This is the season where we also provide an additional treatment to maintain and improve the soil quality. By improving soil quality we increase the population of microorganisms in the soil which improves nutrient uptake and response to Greenheart treatments.
