What to do in frosty and snowy conditions?

Don’t walk all over your frozen lawn. If you do you it will break the frozen grass blades and you will be left with dead and black grass patches the shape of your footprint.  So wait for it to thaw out before you go for a stroll across your lawn.

My lawn keeps growing!  Should I cut it. 

Yes – definitely.  If you leave the grass to get long over the winter it will thin out and be even more prone to disease.  The frequency of cutting will be less – and you can cut it higher than usual but do keep on mowing in winter when it needs it.
