Fertiliser treatments
Should I water in fertiliser treatments?
There is no need to but fertilisers do need water to become active so if you do carry on watering it will ensure the fertilisers become available more quickly. But the key is remember that you are not doing any harm if you do not water it in.
Shall I cut the grass?
We would prefer if you did not cut the grass for 2-3 days after a fertiliser treatment.
Should I be able to see the treatment?
Not necessarily – sometimes we use a liquid spray and sometimes a granular product is applied. Even with some granular products they can be difficult to see as the granules are less than one millimetre in diameter. Occasionally though we do use a brightly coloured large granule and you will be able to see this easily.
How long until I see the difference?
If there is sufficient moisture in the soil you will see a difference within 10 days. If it is very dry it could take longer.
