Ants in lawns
Having ants in and on your lawn is mainly a sign of a healthy lawn. The problem occurs when they creat mounds and cause uneveness in the lawn. These ant mounds tend to occur in the summer when we are mowing a lot. It is best to rake the mounds out when it is dry. In lawns where this has got very bad levelling may be required using extra top soil and topdressing.
